It is the Welsh Government’s aim to have one million Welsh speakers by 2050. At Bryn Deva, we are also very keen to increase the use of Welsh in school. In order to do this, we are following the Cymraeg Campus Language Charter and everyone is working hard to achieve the ‘Bronze Award’ this academic year. This award comprises of ten targets and the children have risen to this challenge and take part in Welsh ‘Criw Cymraeg’ assemblies every week.
